SAP Continuing Education Training Requirements 

The continuing education requirement for the SAP that has already met the initial qualification and examination requirement is being provided by Professional Training Center according to the scheduled listed below. The continuing education training meets the DOT standards outlined in Subpart O, 40281, of the revised DOT rules implemented in July 2000.

The continuing education rule states; 

“During each three year period from the date on which you satisfactorily complete the examination under paragraph (c)(2)  of this section, you must complete continuing education consisting of at least twelve (12) professional development hours
(e.g., CEUs) relevant to performing SAP functions.”
